About Maxine

Welcome! My name is Maxine, and I’m a Registered Social Worker with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families. My work focuses on helping clients navigate depression, caregiver-child conflict, marriage challenges, parenting concerns, low self-esteem and family relationships. I use an eclectic approach, combining Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Strength-Based practices to tailor each session to your unique needs. As a devout Christian, I also offer faith-based counseling upon request, while maintaining a compassionate, anti-oppressive, and non-judgmental approach. My passion for helping others stems from a lifelong commitment to empowering individuals to overcome uncertainty and discover their strengths.
