About Wanjiru

Welcome! My name is Wanjiru Magua, and I am a Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist with 19 years of experience supporting individuals and families. I specialize in helping clients address relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, parent-teen dynamics, and work-life stressors. Growing up in post-colonial Kenya, I was inspired by the resilience and strength of those around me, which now shapes my compassionate, client-centered approach. I integrate culturally adaptive methods such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Narrative Therapy to help clients reframe their experiences, celebrate their strengths, and rediscover their resilience.
